Cemetery Lot Owners

I transcribed into a database software program, every cemetery lot record I found in the Common Council files. The records, below, are sorted chronologically. I found the first 39 records through other sources that did not contain the date of the purchase of the lot. Some records are incomplete.

I also found listings for lot owners in the 1855 Chicago Directory. Vocations or addresses in parentheses with that year are from the directory.

Other information I found during my research, including reinterment information is also included in parentheses.

I am able to sort these records by any of the categories: Survey Name, Lot Number, Date, Name of Lot Owner, Price Paid for Lot.
I have only included the chronological sorting on this Web Site.

See the Mapping the Cemetery section for more information about the six land surveys.
